Drum assembly will be of all steel, non-cast, construction with a capacity of:
25,000 ft - .092" wireline
20,000 ft - .108" wireline
15,000 ft - .125" wireline
A large diameter drum shaft with pillow block design bearings either end will be incorporated. The drum assembly will be on raised supports.
Brake assembly will be of dual wide brake bands with good stopping, holding, and heat dissipation characteristics. A mechanical brake lever, operator adjustable, will be installed at the operator’s console.
Drive assembly will be of chain and sprocket design with a chain tensioning system. Transmission will be of four speeds forward and will be of heavy-duty construction to withstand the horsepower rating. This will offer a wide range of line speeds and pulls. Hydraulic motor will drive the transmission.
Power Supply
Power drive assembly will be by a Deutz model F2L1011, or equal, air-cooled diesel engine.
PTO drive from Truck
Hydraulic assembly will be of open loop design with 5,000 psi working pressure. A variable displacement hydraulic pump and a fixed displacement hydraulic motor designed for rugged conditions will be installed. Controls will be by a directional control valve, speed governor valve, pressure relief valve with remote operation and a safety design pressure gauge, dual scale, for monitoring the operating pressures. Hydraulic fluid will be supplied from a large capacity reservoir of at least 42 gallons. The reservoir will have a breather/strainer filler cap and a sight level/temperature gauge installed. A small hydraulic fluid cooler will be installed to aid the reservoir in cooling of the fluid. Filtration will be by a suction separator and a return filter of at least 10-micron rating. All hoses and fittings will be sized for maximum flow.
Control panel will be of stainless-steel construction and will be installed behind the drum assembly. All controls will be designed with operator efficiency and comfort in mind. A removeable operator’s seat, well-padded and with back rest will be installed at the operator’s console Steering/spooling system will be of level wind design, installed in front of the drum assembly. A steering wheel control will be installed at the operator’s console.
Mounting will be on a channel construction skid with runners under and drag pipes each end. Additional forklift pockets will be installed at the side. Safety sheet steel panels will be installed for safety and environmental purposes.
Dual axle, heavy duty, goose neck design trailer will be incorporated for installation of the wireline unit. Brake arrangement will be on at least one of the axles. Steel treadplate will cover the bed. Quality tires will be installed. USDOT lighting will be installed as required. Mechanical jacks will be installed at each of the rear corners of the trailer.
Auto crane model 40004EH will be installed at the right rear corner of the trailer. The power boom will extend at least from 8 feet to 12 feet and will incorporate manual extension to 16 feet. The crane will have power rotate feature.
Mast will be telescoping and of all steel, rectangular box construction. A top sheave wheel with guide blocks will be installed at top of the mast. A snatch block mount and electric winch will be installed. The mast support will be of goal post design and will be installed to the truck frame. This will allow the wireline to be run in a horizontal direction between the mast supports or a vertical direction over the top of the mast. A mast storage mount will be installed for transportation purposes. The mast will have mechanical locks for operating in a full upright position. The mast will have full hydraulic operation in raising and scoping functions. Controls will be located at driver’s side rear of the body. Hydraulic outriggers will be at rear corners of the body for leveling of the truck before operations begin. Mast height will be approximately 45 feet from the ground and drop point will be approximately 6 feet from rear bumper.
Type Omega measure meter will be installed with full wraparound register wheel of 8" diameter and 7 inch in the groove. Pressure wheel assembly will be installed to retain the measuring wireline in the groove. Frame will be of all steel construction. The measure meter will be installed on the level wind steering assembly.
NOTE: Please advise if unit of measure is to be footage or metric when ordering.
Weight indicator with 100 feet of hose between the dial and the load cell. Dial will be installed at the operator’s control console. A storage mounting bracket will be installed for storage of the hose and load cell.
